Foundation Center Resources
The Southern California Library is a Cooperating Collection of
the Foundation Center. As
a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other
nonprofit agencies, the Library provides visitors with free public
access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and
the Foundation Center's electronic database, The Foundation Directory
Online. The fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive
file of recent grants awarded by the nation's top funders.
Please feel free to come to the Library during our regular hours (listed below) to use these resources. Computers, printers,
and faxes close 10 minutes before the Library closes. You will be able to sign up for use of the computers for half-hour intervals, or longer if there
is no queue. Please feel free to bring your own CD or USB key drive to save information. The Library can also provide CDs and printing capabilities for
a nominal fee.
Regular hours:
Wednesday-Friday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday-Tuesday: Closed
